Kristina started dancing Brazilian Zouk in Saint Petersburg, Russia, in 2010.
That was the time when Zouk was just arriving to Saint Petersburg. Her first teachers were Anikas Poklad, Anastasiya and William dos Santos.
Zouk was Kristina’s first couple dance and it became her whole-hearted passion. She has participated in several workshops and congresses in Russia, Finland, Prague and Brazil, taking also private lessons with some of the best Zouk teachers.
In 2014 Kristina moved to Helsinki and started regular classes with Freddy and Andressa at Helsinki Dance Central. She joined the HDC team in the summer of 2015 and has been training and performing with the group ever since. She is also assisting Freddy and Andressa at the weekly classes.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Before Brazilian Zouk, Kristina was studying Bellydancing in Saint Petersburg for 2,5 years.
Kristina is also a passionate photographer and has successfully turned that into her profession. She is specialised in artistic photography, including nudes, conceptual photography, couple photo shoots and nature photography. As a dancer she has also has a unique talent of capturing the magic of dance to a film. Her portfolio includes e.g. the official artist photos of Freddy and Andressa.
